The LeRoy C. Abbott Society and UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery would like to announce the 55th Annual LeRoy C. Abbott Scientific Program and 31st Annual Verne T. Inman Lectureship scheduled for May 13 & 14, 2010. There will again be two Visiting Professors. Dr. Richard Gelberman is the Fred C. Reynolds Professor and Head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Timothy Bray is a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UCD Medical Center and maintains an active practice in Reno, Nevada.

IGOT Hosts the SIGN Free Flap Surgical Training Course

September 13-14, 2010, San Francisco, CA

IGOT hosts the “SIGN Flap Course” at the Orthopaedic Trauma Institute’s Surgical Training Facilities. Over 25 international colleagues, primarily from developing countries will be in attendance prior to their participation at the Annual SIGN Conference to learn the surgical technique for “free-flap” plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Scott Hansen and the Plastic Surgery Fellows at San Francisco General Hospital are the teaching faculty for this conference.
